To help Hawaiʻi families and communities impacted by COVID-19, the federal government approved a temporary emergency increase to SNAP benefits — at least $95 each month for all SNAP recipients.
This increase has been renewed each month since March 2020, but it will soon come to a close as official pandemic emergency declarations end.
The final emergency allotment will be distributed on March 14, 2023. Visit the State of Hawai‘i Department of Human Services SNAP webpage for the most up-to-date information.
