In the face of rising food prices, increasing costs of shipping, and federal cuts, hunger has continued to plague the Garden Isle. As a result, 1 in 3 Kauaʻi households currently face food insecurity. Hawaiʻi Foodbank Kauaʻi works collaboratively with a network of nearly 40 agency partners to source and distribute food through a variety of nourishment programs, including those focused on serving Hawaiʻi’s most vulnerable populations: its keiki and kūpuna.
