Corporate Partners

Building meaningful partnerships is critical to our mission, and we continue to be amazed at just how resilient our community is — and what is possible when we work together. We are grateful for our generous and mission-driven partners who have aligned their organizational goals and priorities with our mission to make impactful change. Hawaiʻi Foodbank is actively seeking multi-faceted partnerships and can provide your organization with a variety of opportunities that align with your philanthropic goals. Whether through employee volunteer programs, food drives, fundraising campaigns, or strategic sponsorships, we can work together to create customized partnership opportunities that maximize your impact while supporting your corporate values. Together, with partners like you, we can nourish our ʻohana today and end hunger tomorrow.

Host a Food Drive

Food drives are critical to maintaining the flow of food to those who need it most, helping keep our warehouse and food partner agency shelves stocked while encouraging vital community participation and awareness. Hosting a food drive is a powerful way to connect with your family, friends, neighborhood, office, school, club, congregation and others around our shared mission to nourish our ʻohana. Whether you’re organizing a small gathering among friends or mobilizing your entire workplace, food drives create immediate impact while building lasting connections within your community. Every can, box, and bag collected through your efforts directly supports families facing food insecurity across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi, transforming your generosity into meals that strengthen our neighbors and demonstrate the power of collective action in addressing hunger.

Start a Fundraiser

Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to connect with your family, friends, neighborhood, office, school, club, congregation and others around our mission to end hunger in Hawaiʻi. From celebrating personal milestones like birthdays and anniversaries with donation requests instead of gifts, to organizing community events that raise funds for our programs, fundraisers transform special occasions into opportunities for meaningful impact. Your creativity and passion can drive significant resources toward feeding families across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi, whether through online campaigns, benefit events, or workplace giving drives. Every dollar raised through your efforts helps us purchase fresh produce, support our programs, and reach more neighbors in need, proving that when our community comes together with purpose, we can create lasting change in the fight against food insecurity.

Volunteer With Us

Now, more than ever, people are facing food insecurity and counting on Hawaiʻi Foodbank to meet their needs. Volunteers are one of the most integral pillars of our operational framework, and we need the help of groups and individuals to provide access to food for families, kūpuna, keiki and other individuals who are facing hunger. Whether you’re looking to volunteer as an individual, bring your group or organization for a team-building experience, assist with food distribution in the community, or fulfill court-mandated service hours, we have various opportunities available that match your schedule and interests. Getting started is as easy as one, two, three, and your hands-on contribution directly impacts our ability to sort, pack, and distribute millions of pounds of food each year to those who need it most across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi.

Nearly 1 in 3 Hawaiʻi households are struggling with food insecurity.

In 34% of households with children, one or more keiki are food insecure.
